Reducing Our Carbon Footprint

Researchers agree that the vast majority of CO2 emissions generated by the Festival industry are caused by transport, from the vehicles of artists and visitors and the vans and lorries which transport infrastructure, goods and services to what is often a temporary site.

For that reason, where practicable, we encourage all our visitors to make use of Warwick’s excellent public transport links when travelling to and from the Festival – after all, with our free Festival Bus service running all weekend, when will you need your car?
If you are travelling by car and have an empty seat or two, why not ask a friend to car share with you? With fuel costs hitting new heights, it’s a great way to share the expense of travel.

Need a lift to Warwick? Have a space in your car someone could fill? Why not register your interest with goCarShare.com – it’s a great way to go green, make new friends and share the journey cost.  Full details can be found on their website.
