About Warwick Folk Festival ....

Saturday parade through Warwick town centre

GENERAL

The main festival location and campsite are in the grounds of Warwick School, which contains the purpose-built Bridgehouse Theatre for intimate acoustic concerts, the Guy Nelson Hall for ceilidhs and workshops and the main marquee for larger concerts. This site also has craft stalls and on-site catering throughout the festival weekend.

Events including dance tours, mumming plays and concerts also take place in Warwick town centre which is a short walk from the festival campsite. There is also a free festival shuttle bus service available - see the Festival locations page for a map.

To get a feel of the atmosphere at Warwick Folk Festival, go to the Reviews page to see photographs and read reviews of previous fetivals.

FAMILIES

Our objective at Warwick is to provide a festival, which caters for all the family, from the oldest to the youngest. Younger visitors to the Festival can participate in a specially devised programme of entertainment, craft, dancing and music-making - all of which is provided on the main Festival site. See the Education and Children's page for more information.

There's good news for parents too! Under tens are free, AND we offer a family weekend ticket giving a bargain price for two adults and two juniors - see Ticket information for further details.

DISABLED VISITORS

The Festival uses a wide range of venues over the weekend, and almost all are suitable for disabled visitors: disabled toilet facilities are also available on site. We are more than happy to answer any specific queries and make special arrangements if necessary - please telephone the Box Office on 01926 614932.

DOGS

As Warwick Folk Festival is based on a school site, and the festival campsite and concert marquee are both on the school's playing fields, we have to accept and respect the ban on dogs imposed by the school. The Festival Committee feels certain that visitors will understand that the ban is in place for health and safety reasons, and that it applies to the whole school grounds.
