If you love to sing, come and join our singing safari and create a singing group from scratch especially for this year's Warwick Folk Festival.
Six FREE informal weekly sessions of fun, and fantastic singing leading up to performances at Warwick Folk Festival on Sunday 29th July in Market Square and on the festival main site.
This is an opportunity to sing songs from cultures and traditions around the world all in glorious unaccompanied harmony. On our singing safari we will be visiting Africa, America, Eastern Europe, the South Seas and beyond!
singing safari is open to anyone from 16 to 80. No experience required as all songs are taught by ear in the traditional way.

Children's Events
Warwick folk Festival always provides a range of great things for children to do - see below for children's artists already booked for 2008. A full programme of this year's events will be available here nearer the festival date.
Jan Edgecombe's Blackboard Van
Play pirates, play music with plastic tubes, dress up and play imaginary games, draw on the Blackboard Van - what you do is up to you! Jan's Van is a hit at festivals up and down the country, not just with children but with lots of adult onlookers too.
Panic Circus
Professor Panic's circus tent is always busy with children trying to walk on stilts, juggle balls, toss diablos - in short, enjoying themselves.
These anarchic clowns are all experienced children's entertainers and provide a range of workshops to amuse children of all ages.
Dr. Sunshine
Dr. Sunshine Pavement Show was founded by Dave Hunt ("Doctor Sunshine") and the late Vic Baker ("Professor Wingnut") over thirty years ago. Since then we have entertained and made friends with thousands of children at hundreds of festivals, community events, birthday parties and in schools!
We specialise in audience involvement and participation….with lots of funny songs, rhymes, tongue twisters, stories and games .These can be Stage Shows but we prefer more informal settings. Lots of fun and laughter, along with some VERY silly songs ensure that everyone takes part and has a great time.
