Morris dancing at Warwick

Warwick Folk Festival wouldn't be the same without the colour, energy and atmosphere provided by the numerous dance teams that perform in and around the town throughout the weekend.

As in previous years, we are putting together an exciting and varied display of Traditional Dance. Sides booked so far are listed below and more will be added as soon as they are confirmed.

Add this page to your favourites.

Appearances are by invitation only - if you would like your side to be considered for future festivals, please contact Sally Wearing at morris@warwickfolkfestival.co.uk with details of your performance schedule so that we can look out for you.

SEM have produced champion dancers who have won such coveted titles including the All-Ireland, Great Britain, All Scotland, British National, North American and World Championships in both solo and team sections.

At the 2006 World Championships, recently held at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast, where thousands of entrants travelled to compete from all over the globe, the School produced a Solo World Champion in the Senior Men category, we also brought home in the Solo category a 2nd, 3rd and 4th place with many other competitors being placed. Only 2 other schools collected more Solo medals than SEM!
