Circus skills, face painting, dance and music workshops, crafts, concerts and comedy… A packed programme of events and activities specifically for our younger visitors makes Warwick Folk Festival a truly family-friendly weekend away.
Thanks to our Family Partner – Families Warwickshire.
All children’s events are held in and around the principal venues on our fantastic Festival site, so the whole family can enjoy themselves together. The site is safe, spacious and, being a school and playing field, it is ideal for children.
As one visitor said: “I love Warwick Folk Festival because it’s so safe and friendly – my Mum has a worry-free weekend!”
Professor Panic and his Panic Circus are pleased to be back at Warwick with their beautiful red/yellow/green Bigtop.
The Bigtop opens on Thursday evening with at 6.00pm and runs throughout the weekend.
The panic team of workshoppers and volunteers are all committed to the Panic people-friendly,child-centred style .
Remember “it is never too late to have a happy childhood” (or to enable another to have one)
More family fun includes Wyld Thyngz forest school, children’s morris dance workshops, making art from rubbish, Jan’s Van, lantern making all weekend with Handy Lanterns – and the chance to join the procession on Sunday, the captivating & hilarious Bonzo & Doris, walk about theatre from Hand & Mouth Theatre and the Fabularium, and last – but never least – the inimitable Keith Donnelly.
Panic Circus is the life work of Chris Panic and his family. Bringing his lifelong experience of work with children to a Circus outfit that brings the best workshops and performances to the festival scene. A full childrens festival in itself! Storytelling / Circus skills / puppet shows / bubble…
